Wide rim for control and strength
The wider reinforced rim gives better turning and riding control along with adjustable pedal heights (lower for more control and higher for hard turning and clearance when riding off-road. You use a narrow tire on a racing bicycle because it is more energy efficient, but there is so much power here that you want to be on a wide tire with a solid more motorbike-like rim!
