Real-world range

Advertised 40km max. Real world? About 20-30km depending on your weight, hills, and how hard you push it. That's normal for all electric scooters — I always tell people 50-75% of the max.

Why we stock it

The C10 sits nicely between the Air Pro and the S1F. You get dual motors for hill climbing (yes, it'll get you up Kloof Nek), dual spring suspension for comfort, and 10-inch pneumatic tyres that handle Blouberg's beachfront path without issues. At 25.3kg it's manageable to carry up stairs.

IPX4 water resistance means light rain won't kill it, but don't go puddle-jumping. One year warranty, same as everything we sell. Come test ride it at the gazebo.

What's the real-world range?

About 20-30km for most riders. Max 40km is under ideal conditions — flat ground, 70kg rider, 25km/h. Real world in Cape Town with hills and wind, expect 50-75% of max.

Can it handle Cape Town hills?

Yes — dual 350W motors with 30% climbing ability. It'll get you up most hills around town. Very steep ones might slow it down if you're heavy, but it won't quit.

Is it waterproof?

IPX4 — light rain and splashes are fine. Don't ride through deep puddles or leave it out in a storm. If you're commuting in winter rain, the Climber 2 is a better bet with its IP67 rating.

How long to charge?

About 7 hours from flat to full with the standard charger. Charge overnight and you're sorted for the next day.

Can I test ride before buying?

Absolutely. I keep demo units at the Blouberg beachfront gazebo. Check in ahead to make sure we're set up.

What's the warranty?

1 year standard factory warranty. I also have 2 technicians in Blouberg for repairs and maintenance, and I bring in all necessary spares.
